# Índice KP y tormentas geomagnéticas

El **índice KP** mide la actividad geomagnética de la Tierra en una escala de 0 a 9. Durante las tormentas geomagnéticas, la posición GPS pierde precisión y la brújula se vuelve menos fiable: el dron puede derivar en estacionario o pedir una calibración de la brújula.

Drone Weather Forecast muestra el **KP actual y previsto** del GFZ Potsdam y lo compara con el máximo que fijes. Cuando el KP lo supera, el veredicto te avisa.
