# Wind compass

> A compass that points into the wind, shows the magnetic and true heading and warns about magnetic interference before you calibrate.

**Pro**

*Last updated: 2026-10-14*

The **wind compass** uses the sensors of your phone to show, on the spot, where the wind comes from relative to where you are facing.

- An arrow points into the wind, with the speed and direction of the selected hour.
- Magnetic and true heading.
- A warning when the phone detects **magnetic interference**, a good hint not to calibrate the drone's compass right there.

It needs a phone with a magnetometer.
