# ドローンパイロットのためのKP指数入門

> KP指数が何を示すのか、磁気嵐でドローンのGPS精度が落ちる理由、注意すべき値、予報の確認方法を解説します。

**KP指数**は、地球の磁場の乱れを0（静穏）から9（極めて強い嵐）までの尺度で表したものです。GFZ ポツダムが磁気観測所のネットワークをもとに3時間ごとに発表しています。

## パイロットにとっての意味

**磁気嵐**のときは上層大気が乱れ、ドローンが測位に使う衛星（GPS、GLONASS、Galileo、BeiDou）の信号がその中を通ります。測位の精度が下がり、ホバリング中の流れやリターン・トゥ・ホームの精度低下として現れることがあります。強い嵐ではコンパスにも影響が出ることがあります。

## 注意すべき値

| KP | 活動度 | 対応 |
|---|---|---|
| 0〜3 | 静穏〜やや不安定 | 通常どおり飛行 |
| 4 | 活発 | 衛星の捕捉数にいつも以上に注意 |
| 5以上 | 磁気嵐 | 精度が必要な飛行は延期を検討 |

KP 5 以上は、宇宙天気の機関が磁気嵐として分類する水準です。

## 使い方

- KP の予報は**衛星の捕捉数**と合わせて確認しましょう。衛星がもともと少ないときほど、高い KP の影響が大きくなります。
- 機体を目視し、位置が不安定になったら手動で操縦できるよう準備しておきましょう。
