# Zichtbare GNSS-satellieten

Een drone houdt zijn positie vast en keert terug naar huis dankzij satellietplaatsbepaling. Hoe meer satellieten hij vastlegt, hoe stabieler hij stilhangt.

Drone Weather Forecast downloadt de banen van de constellaties **GPS, GLONASS, Galileo en BeiDou** (gegevens van CelesTrak) en berekent welke satellieten op jouw positie en tijdstip boven de horizon staan. De app toont het aantal **zichtbare** en **vastgezette** satellieten, met een elevatiemasker dat je kunt aanpassen (standaard 15°): satellieten die te laag boven de horizon staan, worden geblokkeerd door gebouwen en terrein.
