無人機靠衛星定位來保持位置與自動返航。鎖定的衛星越多，懸停越穩。

Drone Weather Forecast 會下載 **GPS、GLONASS、Galileo 與北斗** 星系的軌道資料（來自 CelesTrak），計算在你的位置與時段哪些衛星位於地平線以上。它會顯示 **可見** 與 **鎖定** 的衛星數量，並使用可調整的仰角遮蔽角（預設 15°）：離地平線太低的衛星會被建築物與地形遮擋。
