Height above the ground where each part of the zone begins. 0 m means from the ground: no flying there without an authorization. 60 m means you may fly below 60 m there. Airports often have several steps, lower the closer you get to the runway.

How to get authorization to fly in a restricted zone

- Register the drone in ANAC's SISANT (required above 250 g). Official page
- Make sure the drone is homologated by ANATEL. Official page
- Request airspace access in DECEA's SARPAS (gov.br login) before every flight. Since 1 July 2026 this includes drones of 250 g or less; standard line-of-sight flights up to 120 m can be filed 30 minutes ahead. Official page
- If the flight crosses an aerodrome restriction zone (FRZ) or a restricted area, attach a coordination agreement (Termo de Coordenação) with the local air traffic unit or aerodrome operator, and file at least 4 days ahead. Official page
- Flying a DJI drone? With the authorization in hand, request an unlock on DJI FlySafe. DJI's unlock does not replace the authority's permission.
