Your use of the Drone Weather Forecast mobile application is subject to the following terms. By using the app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
1. Use of the Application and Platforms
1.1 Drone Weather Forecast is a mobile application available for both Android and iOS. It offers core flight planning resources for free (basic forecasts, satellite count, and KP index) with the option to purchase premium resources.
1.2 The application integrates with platform-native services, including push notifications (FCM), secure local storage (iOS Keychain and Android SharedPreferences), and third-party authentication (Google and Apple).
1.3 The application is provided on an "as is" basis, with no warranties of any kind. All flight decisions and data interpretations are the sole responsibility of the user.
2. Premium Features (Pro Version)
2.1 The app offers a Pro version acquired through a one-time, lifetime in-app purchase. This license is tied to your store account (Apple ID on iOS or Google Account on Android) and has no subscriptions or recurring fees.
2.2 The Pro version unlocks advanced features, including premium data sources (Apple WeatherKit and WeatherAPI), Wind Profile and gust estimates by altitude, the hourly forecast table, Wind Compass with magnetic interference detection, saved favorite cities, and Community forum posting rights.
2.3 Payment transactions and refunds are managed solely by the respective stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) under their respective policies.
3. Data Sources, Safezone Map, and Disclaimers
3.1 Drone Weather Forecast queries weather and space data from reliable public and premium sources (Open-Meteo, WeatherAPI, Apple Weather, CelesTrak, GFZ-Potsdam). We cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy or uninterrupted availability of third-party API data.
3.2 Safezone Map Disclaimer: The map of safe zones (DJI Geozones and OpenStreetMap) is for visual reference only. The pilot is fully responsible for checking official flight airspace restrictions established by their local civil aviation authority (e.g. FAA/B4UFLY in the US, DECEA/SARPAS in Brazil, or EASA in Europe) before launching any drone.
3.3 Altitude estimations (such as the Wind Profile) are mathematical approximations simulated from official 10-meter ground-level data and are strictly intended for generic planning reference.
4. User Liability and Regulations
4.1 The pilot assumes complete civil and criminal liability for any third-party property damage, bodily injury, or emotional harm resulting from drone operation or interpretation of the app's data.
4.2 It is the user's sole obligation to know, follow, and respect all active drone and aviation laws within their flight jurisdiction.
5. Privacy, Authentication, and Community Data
5.1 To enable social features and sync Pro licenses, the app securely stores login details (Google/Apple Authentication), name, email, profile photo, settings preferences, and device location data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5.2 Any post, photo, or comment shared in the Community Forum is displayed publicly. Account deletion or bans for guideline violations will restrict access, while maintaining records required for legal compliance. Following voluntary deletion or ban, you cannot create a new account using the same email address for 6 months.
6. User-Generated Content and Moderation
6.1 The Forum is actively moderated to ensure a helpful and safe environment. Any posting of offensive, illegal, defamatory, hateful, or commercial spam content is strictly prohibited.
6.2 We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts and delete posts violating these rules without refund of Pro licenses if the violation occurs on the social network.
7. Modifications, Availability, and Maintenance
7.1 We strive for maximum app uptime. However, occasional disruptions due to server maintenance, OS updates, or API quota limits from third parties may occur.
7.2 We reserve the right to alter features or update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the updated guidelines.
7.3 Technical support and development of the application may be terminated permanently at any time. The user acknowledges and agrees that the application may cease to function and that no refunds or financial compensation will be provided for Pro version purchases or for any other reason related to its discontinuation.
Acceptance
By using Drone Weather Forecast, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms above. Failure to comply may result in the suspension or termination of your app access.
