Drone rules in Hong Kong at a glance
- Aviation authority: Civil Aviation Department (CAD)
- Maximum height: 91 m (300 ft) above the ground, unless an authorization allows more. For drones over 250 g; drones of 250 g or less: 30 m (100 ft).
- Registration: Drones over 250 g and their remote pilots must be registered with the CAD on the eSUA portal. Official page

- Flights wholly inside an enclosed area are exempt from the RFZ restriction.
How to get authorization to fly in a restricted zone
