A drone holds its position and comes home with satellite positioning. The more satellites it locks, the steadier the hover.
Drone Weather Forecast downloads the orbits of the GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou constellations (CelesTrak data) and computes which satellites are above the horizon at your position and hour. It shows the visible and locked counts, using an elevation mask you can change (15° by default): satellites too low over the horizon are blocked by buildings and terrain.
The count is compared with the minimum your drone needs, and only the constellations your model uses are counted. The guide GPS satellites and drones has more.
