The KP index measures the geomagnetic activity of the Earth on a scale from 0 to 9. During geomagnetic storms, GPS positions get less accurate and compass readings less reliable: the drone can drift while hovering or ask for a compass calibration.
Drone Weather Forecast shows the current and forecast KP from GFZ Potsdam and compares it with the maximum you set. When the KP goes over it, the verdict warns you.
The guide KP index for drone pilots explains the scale and what to do on a stormy day.
